Art Deco Platinum, Ruby & Diamond Geometric Design Ring

939M
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a really stunning ring that was made in the early 1920s. It is a classic design for the period with a geometric style set with bright white diamonds and rectangular cut rubies on the corners. It also has millgrain detailing to the platinum edges.  The millgrain (thousand grains) was achieved by the use of a knurling tool to make the small grains of platinum, hence the name.  It sits low on the finger so is a very practical ring to wear on an every day basis. It would make a wonderful engagement ring.
