Written by Olly Gerrish

A striking and impressive 9ct gold and silver ring that was made in the 1920s. It was the costume jewellery of the day as it was meant to imitate a Burma sapphire surrounded by small diamonds. It has been set with a round deepish blue paste with a laurel leaf surround set with marcasite (iron pyrites) It looks impressive when worn and sits low on the finger.
