Art Deco Aquamarine & Diamond Pendant

281T
Written by Olly Gerrish

A really lovely Art Deco pendant that was most likely made in Germany in the 1920s. It has been set with a pear shaped aquamarine that weighs approximately twenty carats. The seawater colour of aquamarine has given this gemstone its name as the word “aquamarine” is derived from the Latin word for seawater. Above the aquamarine is a millegrained three leaf design set with graduataed rose diamonds with a small diamond above and further rose diamonds set in to the bale
