Art Deco 18ct White Gold Zircon Ring

689P
40 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stylish 18ct white gold ring that was made in the 1920s. It is typical of the Art Deco style with it’s step cut shoulders. Zircons were used a lot during that period and they are one of the oldest stones that have been used in jewellery for 2000 years. They occur in an array of colours from yellow, green, red, reddish brown and blue hues. The zircon in this ring is an electric colour blue that contrasts well with the white gold. It would make an unusual engagement or dress ring.
