Art Deco 18ct White Gold Ring set with a Large Aquamarine With Baguette Diamond Set Shoulders

91X
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct white gold ring that was made in the Art Deco period, circa 1930, when large stones were all the rage. it has been claw set with a beautiful emerald cut aquamarine that weighs nearly eight and a half carats. It is a gorgeous stone and a good even pale sea blue colour. The seawater colour of aquamarine has given this gemstone its name as the word “aquamarine” is derived from the Latin word for seawater. The shoulders have each been set with a baguette cut diamond.

It is a great ring and will certainly cause a stir when you wear it.
