Art Deco 18ct White Gold, Imperial Topaz & Diamond Ring

664P
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stunning ring with an imperial accented by six small diamonds. The name imperial topaz is said to have originated in 19th-century Russia, where the Ural Mountain mines were an important source of topaz reportedly reserved for the royal family. However, in the 20th century most pink to orange topaz came from Brazil or Pakistan. The warm orange of the central stone contrasts beautifully with the white gold and diamonds. The simple and rectangular shoulder detail give this ring a simple elegance.
