Art Deco 18ct Gold & Platinum Onyx & Diamond Bracelet

951M
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A stunning 18ct gold and platinum bracelet that was made circa 1920-1930. It has seventeen articulated sections. Each one has been set with two rectangular pieces of onyx with a diamond on either side and four small rose diamonds. There is further fine detailed millgrained work. This is when the edges of the metal have been worked with a knurling tool to produce tiny beads, hence the French name “Millgrain” meaning a thousand beads. The sides have decoration typical of the period. It has a safety chain and a clip that goes over the clasp for extra security. It looks stunning when worn.

Ollys Pick

This is a really finely made Art Deco bracelet. The best!
