Art Deco 14ct White Gold & Diamond Five Stone Ring

380L
Written by Olly Gerrish

A smart ring that was either made in Germany or Austria circa 1920. It is set with five well matched white diamonds with millgrain decoration in between which was common practice with jewellery and adds further detail to the ring. The literal translation for “millgrain”, a french word, is “a thousand grains”. It is in the form of tiny bead shapes that are raised using a knurling tool on the gold. It would make a pretty engagement ring.
