A decorative 9ct gold buckle bangle that was made in Birmingham in 1918. Buckles have a wonderful meaning in the antique jewellery world. They stand for “cling to me” which would have been a sweet and powerful message from an admirer. It has been engraved with flowers and leaves on the front.
