1950s Platinum, Sapphire & Diamond Ballerina Ring

383U
Written by Olly Gerrish

An amazing platinum ring that was made in the 1950s. It is called a Ballerina ring because of the shape which is like a Tutu. The skirt has been set with very white tapered baguette diamonds.  There are small round white diamonds around the central oval sapphire. It is a really well made ring as the construction is quite complicated. What an original engagement or dress ring. This ring comes with a gemmological certificate that states that the sapphire is an unheated natural stone
