139T
40 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A 9ct gold ring that has been set with seven gem stones. Each letter of each stone spells “Dearest” DiamondEmeraldAmethyst,Ruby.Emerald, SapphireTourmaline. Since Georgian times people were very fond of sending secret messages to their loved ones and rings such as this one spelt “Adore, Regard, Love” etc.  This ring is a revival of the practice and was made in Sheffield in 1958.  The sides are a continuous heart design to further emphasise fondness for the person who is receiving this ring.  It is the ultimate gift between sweethearts.
