18ct Gold Signet Ring Engraved with a Fleur de Lys & Snake Entwined by Charles Green & Sons

892S
Written by Olly Gerrish

A smart heavy gage 18ct gold signet ring that was made in Birmingham by the well known firm Charles Green & Sons in 1993. It has an unusual hand engraved crest of a Fleur de Lys with a snake entwined. The fleur de lys represents the Christian Trinity and the snake is emblematic of wisdom & medicine. This would have been a crest that belonged to a particular family.
