18ct Gold Peridot & Diamond Ring

132P
Written by Olly Gerrish

A striking 18ct gold ring that has been set with quite a large peridot that weighs 4.52 carats. Peridot is named after the French word “peritot”, meaning gold, because the mineral can vary towards this colour. It is also the birthstone for the month of August and is the stone given to celebrate the 16th year of marriage. It has a diamond on either side. It was made in 1988 and assayed in London.
